    Hi all!

    Just figured I would throw myself out there now that I finally registered here on AZ. I usually stalk vortex/fourtitude but this place is much more civil. Just a quick history on myself so you know where I am coming from here:

    Currently:
    -In Iraq (back for good in 2 weeks!)
    -MKII Golf VR6 Turbo
    -Purchasing a B6 S4 first thing when I get home since I need a new daily driver!

    Past:
    -01 Jetta 1.8T with so much crap it was stupid to include 6SPD swap done on my garage
    -01 Audi TT 225 with bolt ons and coils

    That is all, take it easy.

    Haha, allow me to rephrase, "from what I have seen" and nothing can be worse than the MKIV forums on the poortex!


    Also, the VRT was a blast... it was pretty stupid fast (when I can find traction) but far from daily drivable lol and thanks for the kind words everyone, means a lot.

    why B6 and not a B7?

    I have always loved the way that the B6 looked. The B7 is still an amazing car, but as far as bang for the buck, I find the B6 to be a better platform. (at least for my needs)

    and V8S4Fun I will start lurking around over there in the mid-atlantic forums here shortly. My buddy Ben has a Red B5 S4 and goes to a lot of the meets.

    Thanks! Yeah the B7 is definitely a great looking car, I guess I just like the B6 for some reason. If I found a B7 for the right price I would be willing to get one.

    Welcome. I'm with you on the B6 . There's not a single angle the b7 looks better than the B6 (except when it's getting smaller in my rear view mirror ). The only B7 I'd consider is the RS4 and that;s self explanatory. Not hating on the B7's, they are still a beautiful car, I just find the B6 more so.
