Hit Curb now Big Performance Loss?

Hey guys. I have a bone stock 04 USP 6SPD, i love it. Until last week I had to swerve out of the way of somthing and I hit a median dead on doing about 20mph, blowing out both passenger side tires.

    New Tires and Alignment

Since then, I have noticed the car isnt performing like it used to. I remember whenever the turbo kicked in, the car would just kick it up a notch and throw me back, now, not so much. I hear the turbo spooling up, and I am not throwing any codes. I missed the vrooooooom. Any ideas?

oh. and i do notice some boost gain, but not like i used to.

Have you done a visual over your engine bay to see if anything was dislodged? An impact like that could dislodge something.

Does the car drive well? I would think your control arms bent or something of that like from the impact.

no, you might not throw a code, i have a boost issue where the ECU is requesting up to 24xx mbar and i'm only getting 17xx mbar max, never throws any boost codes (typically i only see "upper rev limit exceeded, warranty void ;)" since i like to give it a little now and again) and i scan it almost daily with my laptop. someday i'll get to the bottom of it but it's still fast as hell only pushing 17xx.

makes me think more and more that its a boost leak..find someone w/ a vag-com and log boost...ur in the mid-atlantic area so im sure there are plenty of ppl willing to help you out if you dont have one...check the locals section...

Edit: i lied. now that i think about it, i got great mileage when my ic hose popped off. that may be because i drove like a baby until i could fix it, but nonetheless it was pretty good.
