What Noise Do The K03's Make

Hey i know you can tell when your k03's are starting to go they get louder, but what exactly does that mean?

I know when they blow they sound like a loud annoying dentist drill, but when they are getting louder what sound do they make? Does the spooling up get louder?

Just go to youtube and search, there's tons of vids of S4s with dying turbos.

mine didnt whine, just a pop and then a rattle.

Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwhhhhh then an atomic hair melting combustive explosion braawooom with light harmonic flutes and trumpets going in the background, im amusing a loud hum, something like a boost leak? i've never experienced it

oh thats what they sound like. Thanks for the info. And the threads are a little bit different. This one was i wanted to know exactly what they sounded like when the turbos are getting "louder"

the only noise i've ever heard my K03 make was really weird. They would whisper "uppppgrade me.. i suuuuccccckkkk" when i turn off my car. really weird.

My turbo just went puff than a big cloud of somoke came out. I drove the car to my moms house and the neighbor asked if we want her to call the fire department. Prior to that they were making a weird noise not a dentist drill or the one in the vid more like Woouuu woooo lol yea it's hard to explain
