Foor Jack recommendation, please

Since a lot of ppl say the one from factory in our trunk is not reliable, what do ppl recommend?

I want one that I can put in the car as well as being able to jack up our SUV...so a strong one might be great.

This is the best low profile jack out there.. Works great on lowered cars..

It won't fit in your trunk but you should consider one for the garage..

I use a Sears 2 ton jack, it's a bit overboard, but it's really easy and doesnt do too much harm to those pinch welds... The model I have has a rubber disc that makes contact with the chassis, to help prevent damage.

go to costco and get the 3 ton aluminum race jack, i think its about 120-130 but worth ever penny. ive had mine a lil over 3 years and its still going strong

How did you transport that home? Is that heavey? Also what about one for your car if something happens on the road?

I'm guessing but I use my floor jack at home, just threw it in the trunk and went home and left it in the garage. The OEM crap jack is OK to use if your in an emergancy situation, aka flat tire, but for doing work under your car etc.. I wouldn't want to rely on that jack. Grab a set of cheap jack stands too.
