    S4 temperature in gauge cluster

My gauge cluster does not display the ambient outside temperature. Is there a "button" to display this information. The cluster only shows the top portion (CD track ...) and the bottom portion, not in between the lines.

I have tried using the reset. It just resets time, avg mph mpg ... The gauge does not appear to have dead pixels in the area. Thanks for the fast reply

actually there really isn't a reason why one shouldn't be working and the 2. reset would clear the entire screen

Re: S4 temperature in gauge cluster

is anything else not working on your cluster? I'm pretty sure one of the plugs in the back of the cluster can be partially unplugged and cause this. check the plugs on the back and make sure they are plugged in as the lever come down.

I Think every thing else works properly. Just no center secion of the display. There is one dead line of pixels in the top portion. When key is in the On position, the whole display is lit up pres clutch .....

I wish i read this reply earlier today when i was installing a boost gauge, well I will take a look at the connection tomorrow. thanks

Re: S4 temperature in gauge cluster

I replaced the Temperature sensor located near the radiator.

    HVAC codes

    2 Faults Found:

00787 - Temperature Sensor in Fresh Air intake duct (G89)

    29-00 - Short to Ground

01274 - Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor (V71)

41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent

Does any one know the part number to the other temp. sensor? I assume its the one in the first code.

    thanks
