Problem !!!

Codes i pulled from a OBDII scanner. I cleared the codes and after reinstalling the battery and trying to start it no codes show.

Car won't start or crank over it just makes a click an spark sound on the driver side in the engine bay. I took the battery out and had it tested at Autozone, they said it was fine. I just had new turbos installed 500miles ago an also had the Neutral Safety Switch replaced. EPC and ABS lights come on and go out when i put the key in the on postion. I'm goin to check the spark plugs tomorrow any Ideas people?

Anybody have any Ideas? I just Had new Turbos and a few other parts installed not really looking to send it back to the shop. Let me know if there are some other things i need to be looking at or testing.

Spark plugs would not cause the car to not crank. Does it make a "thud" kind of noise at all when you try to turn it over? It sounds like the starter went kaputt. If that's the noise it's making I'd say it's the starter.

PS find someone in your area with VAG COM and scan the car.

no thud and I only have a actron OBD II scanner. It just makes a low click then a spark on the driver side under the hood. What would Vag show that the other scanner wouldn't?

the VAG code. not OBD II code. OBD is less specific than VAG. (this is why out cars SUCK)

Does it actually spark, or just sound like it is. Where at exactly under the hood. Top, middle, bottom, on engine or on wheel well?

Sounds like its on the wheel well driver side. I'm going to order a cable and get a laptop hooked up are there specific blocks to run. I will try and get someone to help so i can hear if the fuel pump turns on too. Thanks for the help brother.

Good luck. don't worry about the fuel pump for now. You need to see why it's not cranking. Have you looked at the wires on the starter? are they intact? and good looking connections?
