use vag-com to find out which sensors are getting the short to ground codes. Then one by one plug one until you find the culprit. If you engine will run long enough maybe you can get a code for a bad sensor before the fuse goes. I'm betting a shot evap purge valve. It happened on my car and i just left it unplugged for a while. I wa gonng fix it, but my car got hit.

i vaged it and got got short to ground codes for the evap system, n75, purge valve, thottle sensor, cam position sensor, bank 1 sensor 1 malfuction, bank 1 sensor 2 malfunction, bank 1 sensor 1 (lambada) no activity, bank 1 sensor 2 (lambada) no activity. When i clear them the only ones that stay are the evap, purge and n75 codes. i tried unpluging them and starting the car but had no luck
