I finally got the quad tip with diamond black tips and love it. Well worth the wait. People have been complaining of the Drone inside but i think you are just too picky. My Girl was riding and i asked if she thought it was loud inside. she said No. which i was surprised but very pleased!! Anywho here are a bunch of pictures.

And I was extreamly pleased with how easy the install was!

If only I knew how to get good sound. I tried a inside video and it failed! couldn't hear much of anything. Any advise?

Yes sir. Black tips all the way. I wasn't too sure on the quad tips or not but I'm really happy i went with them!

^^^HAHA The box was HUGE!! I was happy it fit in the car so i could get it to the install place! I think the boxed weighs in at 67lbs.

hey OP, great looking exhaust, i like the darker tips, i also got the same exhaust. You getting the "loud" effect from like 1K to 3K rpm? Just making sure it isn't just me.

Yes i get it here and there. I go through 1-3k pretty fast so it doesn't last too long! I don't notice it when cruising at 2.4k, do you?

It's not bad if i'm constantly cruising, but once i step on it between 1k and 3k on the highway (no matter what gear) it does get slightly loud, this isn't something that bothers me cause i'm use to it now but you deff notice it.

It's weird cause you think the noise outside is soo much louder than it really is hearing it from inside. I had my brother do a couple drive bys when i had it adjusted and it's pretty quiet IMO.

Do you have a testpipe or high flow cat? Just wondering the sound differance...i'll be putting my testpipe on this sunday morning. I'll post up vids.

Looks really good! I just intalled the same exhaust on my car...the black tips are not as noticeable on my car because its black lol, but it still looks good. Is your exhaust only cat back?...I cant tell from your pics but I only have cat back and its still sounds amazing!! I am planning to install my testpipe that I just bought soon.

I have a sound clip for everyone who has been begging...lol Hope you like it! =]

Lets see. My friend and I who are not mechanics did it in just about 2 hours. AWE install directions say 3.5 hours. Advise for you, make sure you use a lift! if you drive there open your hood and let the cat cool down when on the lift. as the cat cools down start from the back and remove the exhaust from the hangers. after that you will see 2 bolts holding the DP with the rest of the exhaust. undo the 2 bolts and remove the back half of the exhaust. you'll need to remove the downpipe spring and good luck with the bolts that attach the DP and Cat. they are a pain but with a little muscle you should be fine!

I would like to say 13mm. You'll need a small wrench and a socket to get it off. you don't want strip the bolts so becareful when putting muscle to them! any other questions just ask!
