    S4 Rear Axles vs A4 Rear Axles

    Are they the same?

    I found out that the rear wheel bearings are the same on both cars. Hence are the rear axles the same too?

    I believe they are beefier then the a4. If the bearings are the same I'd assume the splines are the same.

    I do believe that the S4 has a 94mm inner CV joint, compared to a 90mm inner CV joint on the A4. I am not sure if the spline that fit into the CV joint are the same.
