    Rear suspension loose

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have something loose in the rear suspension that rattle when I go over small bumps and crack in the pavement. When I look at it (sitting on wheels or raised) everything seems solid in rear drivetrain.
Brand new Swaybar Link and same problem.

Any Idea? rear "tie rod" ?

Not so sure if this will help, but make sure your wheels are torqued right,

Did this noise just recently begin, or did it begin when you installed the eibach's?

The one at the top of the strut? it was torqued well last time I checked it. I though it was those but no luck.

The noise is there since I bought the car (who came with koni/eibach), about 20k km ago.

    Re: Rear suspension loose

check the through-bolt at the top of the rear shocks(travels horizontally through shock housing/spring perch), I accidently left one side on my car loose after returning back to stock for winter and had the same noise you described.-RETARD moments in DIYs

    Re: Rear suspension loose

I have a similar problem, my drivers side rear suspension squeaks and I checked it out everything was sturdy then I realized it was the bushings up top they were squeaking...idk if the bolt needs to be tighten or it needs to be lubricated, maybe that's the same problem you're having, it only happens when I'm moving more than 10mph
