Questions and advice from BT guys..

Pretty new here to posting but have found the DIY's and info pretty useful. I bought a 1.8T from a friend of a friend about a yr and a half ago and have been fixing it ever since. Need some advice on some things.

First off, it has a GT2871R, SPP front mount, ATP exhaust mani, 415cc injectors, 3.5 fpr, about to get some unitronics software but now has an APR 1 bar, and other misc. Anyway he has it set up with a BOV and from what I've been reading that's not the way to go. Luckily, the IC pipe it's welded to is not welded to the core of the IC so I can easily remove it. The thing is I'm not quite sure how to implement a diverter valve with my BT setup. Pretty much looking for pictures if anyone has some since I'm more of a visual learner being I'm still learning what everything is and how/where it should be located. I've been having trouble bc most pics are from stock set ups where I'm missing half of what they have. Any input would be awesome.

The year of your car is imperative slugger. Did you even look at the top of the forum in the projects sub-forum where not one car is close to stock and a GT28 or higher is all you'll find info on .

you can run a BOV perfectly fine...don't listen to the people who jump on the BOVs are bad bandwagon. If you browse the forum you'll see that a lot of people run a BOV with no problem as long as it stays shut at idle (ie. HKS SSQV, Forge 004)
