    I know this is a somewhat pointless question but hear goes anyways, what is that icon on the dash, its a oval with a line slashed across it? whenever my car is on it lights up? what is that, its starting to bug me. also will not having a battery cover affect the engine in any way? im assuming it wont?

    Are you referring to this symbol -> Ø which sits to the left of the Trip Memory display, ie mpg, instant mpg, etc.

    That just means Average. Like Avg MPGs or Avg Speed. You can change what your dash displays by clicking the switch up or down on the windshield wiper arm located to the right of the steering wheel.
