3 Threads in 1; Red BBS caps/Poll/Teaser

Sharing some more goodies I picked up for my new toy. First on the list, my red BBS caps finally came in today. Here's a quick shot I took after putting them on...



Second on the list is for the poll; Right now, I have an RS4 grill on my car, however, the outer trim is painted in pearl to match the body color, but I'm considering repainting it in black. Here's an animated gif cycling between both. Take a look and please vote on the poll (I added a black roof in the gif as well since I plan on doing it after winter)...



And finally 3rd on the list is my teaser. Along with my red BBS caps, the FedEx guy dropped off another addition, or should I say 2, for the S4...

there was someone selling a vinyl cut out for our roofs. Dont know where he went. My friend owns a sign shop with all kind of expensive machines. I can ask how much it will cost to make some for our cars. I dont want to make any money, just trying to help out AZ. I learned alot from this site and still learning,lol.

I have a pearl too, love yours. Never seen the matched painted trim on the rs4 grill, I like! But i'd say if your going to black out the roof, just go ahead and do the grill too.

Makes me want to paint my grill now...but I was thinking of painting the trim black and the mesh pearl. It would be different.

Ideally, I would prefer to do a vinyl black roof instead of painting. This way, when/if I go back to having a pearl roof, i wouldn't have to worry about the color matching. Too bad I don't know of any shops around here that do vinyl roofs

Looks like majority is to black it out. I have some black vinyl lying around, maybe I'll toss that on the grill temporarily and see how I feel bout it.

I wouldn't bother with the paint, nobody is going to notice it and you'll know its there, but you'll rarely see it. seeing as how you made the no option first in your poll, it seems to me you've already made up your mind not to do it anyway, follow your gut feeling.

you'll get more satisfaction from spending the money on something under the hood. if you really want to get something painted, get the charge & intake pipes ceramic coated to shield them from heat soak.

Well, painting the grill I would do myself. It would be pretty much free considering I already have all the tools and supplies needed from other previous projects I've done that involved painting.
