    Window lock switch

Well I never asked about this because it never really bothered me that much since i rarely have people in my back seat, maybe once a week if even. My window lock switch is stuck up in the lock position, so my rear windows wont go down from the rear controls. I either have to hold the lock button down to unlock or do it from my driver controls. I figure its a cheap fix so I'm just curious where I can get the switch and how I can install it? It might not even be the switch its just the fact that it doesnt click and stay down when I push the switch down.

PS- Got my SB Stg.1 clutch on today with a new stock flywheel since my old one went bad somehow. I like it alot, just gotta break it in now.

    Re: Window lock switch

you might have to take the whole door panel off. I think you have to do that for the window switches.

    Re: Window lock switch

Seems to be a common problem that they should recall. It's good if you are still under warranty because they will have to replace the whole drivers side switch with all the peeling buttons. Will be getting mine done by the end of the year before my warranty is up...

    Re: Window lock switch

I'm chiming in with the same problem. Looks like it's pretty common, and it's just a replacement of the switch cluster on the driver's door that fixes it. I'll be planning this for sometime around spring, when it'll actually start bugging me.

A good writeup can be found in this thread.

My switch finally went kaput today. I never touched that 'child safety' button ever, but now it just stay lit yellow. Not a big deal and somewhat annoying since I also have the ongoing yellow flashing (and occasionally beeping) TPMS light on the dash. 56,000 miles so far.
