3.0 questions

Im going to service my A4 this weekend and I had a few questions. First what motor oil should I use? Also is the stock paper air filter good or should I upgrade to a K&N or something? I guess I should go ahead and change the plugs as well as Im not real sure when the car was last serviced. What plugs should i get?

I would do stock everything, as for oil, whatever you want as long as its within the guidelines.

many say Motul is the best, but IMO its not needed for a 3.0

you can run Mobil 1 0W-40. it's good enough for your engine!
(don't bring up the who is full synthetic thing back here!!!!)

K&N air filter is good but you need to "Dry" the oil on the filter by wiping it with paper towels.

how many miles do you have on the clock? if it's over 50K, i would do plugs and Coil packs.
plugs you can run Denso Iridium IK20! get them on EBAY. CP is expensive, but you can pm me about the CP

5w30 full synthetic. K&N for sure. Since there isn't really an aftermarket CAI, its the best thing you can do to improve the intake.

audi makes very very very good intake system. no need to waste money!

I would use 5W-40 for GA weather. 0W-40 is pretty thin and can burn off in our high heat engines.

This car has 91K but im not sure what all has been done. The PO bought the car certified but then again I dont know how many miles the PO put on the car. Thanks for the tips on what I should use.
