ECS tuning

Placed an order Tuesday morning (October 7th) Order includes: Oil filter, oil drain plug gasket, cabin filter, and both Coil Pack Wiring Conduit. Nothing major right? WRONG

When I placed the order all items are in stock except the wiring conduits, “usually ships 1-3 business days”, fine I can wait.

A week goes buy and the status of the order is still “product inbound”… Tuesday morning October 14, I email ECS…with “it’s been a week where is my order?” I get a reply same day with “will ship as soon as arrives from Audi…(I would hope so) same day I get another email with “ships tomorrow” then today I get an email with “will be shipped 10/17/08” with Saturday and Sunday the order won’t be out until Monday October 20th…

Quite a difference from “1-3 business days” to 2 week….

Lesson learned: don’t buy anything from ECS unless it’s in stock, if order doesn’t ship within 2 days...COMPLAIN…otherwise plan for a long wait.

I understand that they are at the mercy of Audi…but I would have wanted a follow up from them at day 3…saying there is a delay, versus complaining and then get bombarded with emails…

they shipped me the wrong box. Outside it says my name and address, the stuffs and the invoice inside were for some guy in another town.

Forgot the waterpump in one of my timing belt kits, and same kit the replacement serpentine belt broke after a week. They would not do anything, put the old belt on and it lasted another 1.5 years(I sold the car).
