Hi All,
I have tried to explain this issue as best as could.
Driving on the highway on 6 gear with 70-80 mph pressing the clutch for a second and shifting to 5th gear then releasing the clutch and hit the gas hard and there is a movement from the front part of the car. If I drive with lower speed let say 40-50 mph and do the same exercise, no such movement occurs.
What can cause this movement? My mechanic replaced the transmission mount, replaced the stock snub mount with ECS snub mount and he said that the motor mounts are fine, but there is a little movement in the left one. He is stating that this should not be the problem for this movement. He thinks that the issue is with the suspension, may be the axels as much as understood his diagnosis. He asked me to turn the front wheels to both left and the right individually and he was hitting the tires with his leg to see if there is any movement.
This issue happened before we replaced both the transmission and snub mounts.
Your opinion matters.
Thank you.
