Switching to Sport suspension - change front bumpstops?

Please don't hate me for this question

I'm switching from oem non-sport to oem sport suspension on my B6 Avant.

I've searched the forums and so far still got 50/50 findings.

The rear bumpstops are pretty much a resounding yes but fronts are ????
One side says no need to change the front bumpstops because they're either the same for both sport and non-sport or there's very little difference while the other side says change it to the "real" sport bumpstops upfront to avoid a harsh ride.

Bottom line, I'm still confused. What's that worst that could happen if I leave it as is, ie non-sport bumpstops?

If I'm going with H&R or Neuspeed Sport {trust me, I'm seriously considering this }, might be a different situation.

    Thanks in advance

Not sure with the 1.8's but with the 3.0's you only need to change the rears. I have plenty of suspension travel on the fronts with non-sport stock bumpstops and Eibach Pro Kit springs. The rears not much travel at all. Again, I'm 3.0.

once you take apart your suspension you will see that the bump stops on the non sport suspension are much bigger than the ones on the sport (an inch maybe more) i dont know if im totally clear on what you are asking but if it is should you change them when you changes suspension, the answer is yes. dont try to put the old non sports on the sport
