Newbie from the UK

Hi,

Found my way over following a link posted in a thread on Audi-Sport.net (saddly docurley stolen RS4 bodied A4 :( ). Had a look around and thought I would register and say "hello"

I own a 1996 A4 1.8T Sport (AEB 150PS). It was bought to replace my first A4 (a 1.6 Avant, why I got a 1600cc I will never know).

This is my car as it was last time out properly with the camera (it's the UK so yes it was raining)

Since those pics were taken I've added an RS4 grill and a set of OEM facelift headlamps.

Spec is nothing wild but as follows;
Superchip (14.5psi)
K&N cone filter with ducting
Forge recirculating dumpvalve
Custom back box with twin 3" slash cut tailpipes.
RS4 grill
facelift headlamps
BMW spoiler

On a DynoDynamics rolling road it recorded 181bhp with 196ft/lb of torque.

Plans are Weitec suspension kit, 312mm brake conversion, facelift tail lights all to be done before I head to the Nurburgring in the Spring where I'm also planning on getting engaged.

Might be of interest to some (sorry no 4 rings on the front), this is my weekend/track toy.

nice car my friend. the paint looks awesome on both of those cars and you can tell you really take care of them. but i thought that the UK only got the non-turbo version of the 1.8, did you specially import it or something? forgive my ignorance.

and yes you are indeed going to catch a lot of shit around here about the RS4 badges.

The UK got the 1,8T, as well as the naturally-aspirated 1,8 20V.
