no i dont think they do... I have this pedal set it is great. no problems in wet weather as well with slipping off the pedal...

yes sir. I didnt do the job I watched my buddy do it for me lol, but he drilled into the stock pedals. They dont budge. AT ALL. it took him 20 minutes start to finish.

Since the pedals used in a large variety of VAG applications are so similar, we were able to design these pedals to work on many cars.

While I haven't inspected the foot wells of many cars, I have a feeling the dead pedals are a different story.

i want to believe that these are the ish. ESPECIALLY since i have a set.

but all i have heard are bad reviews. that ALL the nubs come off with the first wk. and after that there is no grip, so all the rubbers must be epoxied in.

is this true? im going to def do it (as in install, and epoxy) but i was wondering if AWE had any solutions or way to service this issue.

i will be the first to tell you a good response then.... ive had the pedals in for about 6 months now, and none of the nubs have come off... ive driven the car with timberland boots too, i downshift a lot when stopping and i drive 60 miles a day to and from school so they have been used and abused and they still look new and all nubs in place. if it withstands timberlands i dont know how ppl make them fall off LOL

There are a few individuals who have had bad experiences with the nubs on our pedals. We took the problems people had into account and released a new version of our pedals a while back.

I don't know which version of our pedals were owned by the individuals who wrote the reviews you read, but our latest version has been great.

People that wear shoes with very aggressive soles, like Timberlands, or individuals that heavily track their cars might want to superglue the nubs before installation. This, while not at all necessary, will greatly reduce the risk of nub failure.

lol yeah sounds like they could be the old set not the current revision.... you're going to need that epoxy with GenX's kit haha shits gonna be fast!

There are some pretty easy to tell differences. The first and easiest way to tell is the AWE Tuning logo on the face of the pedals.

The latest version of our pedals (pictured above) has the text on two separate lines. Our logo and AWE are on one line, while Tuning is below.

The old version of our pedals had everything on the same line.

One other easy to tell difference is the thickness of the pedals themselves. Our latest pedals design is 3/8ths of an inch thick. The old design is only 1 to 2/16ths of an inch thick.

While I don't think you're going to have an issue with the pedals, if you're concerned, why not apply some glue/epoxy on the initial install? It won't add too much time to the install.

I had a couple nubs fall off but you can definitely put them right back in if you can find them. I think mine stuck to my boots or something...but anyhow, called AWE and they mailed me some extra nubs within the week. None have fallen off since (4 months)
