Do you guys have any plans to incorporate a dead pedal into the set? I know some the AWE VW sets have them. I have your pedal set my B6 and the dead pedal is crying for attention. Maybe as an option?

I ordered these a week or two ago - I love them! If anyone buys them and has questions about installing, shoot me a PM. Make sure to get a nice 10-32 tap. Home Depot sells a package with the tap and a bit. I had a Harbor Freight tap and die set but it wasn't strong enough to get through the brake pedal.

Do these just get screwed into the stock pedals?

Remove the plastic/rubber covers off the clutch and brake - screw into the plastic of the clutch and the metal of the brake. The accelerator doesn't have a cover so you just screw into the plastic pedal.

The pictures above don't show it, but the screws are nice - they aren't just philips head or anything ghetto looking - they sit flush in the pedal.

As far as I know, we don't have plans to engineer a dead pedal at this time. Sorry guys.

Why did you use phillips screws and not all allen head screws?

Do you still sell them with the standard thread screws, or are they metric now. I bought a set of these years ago right when the were released and couldnt believe that you included SAE hardware. I've since lost a few of the screws so I need to get some new ones, and metric would be ideal. Do you sell these? What about little rubber replacements? a bunch of mine are missing.

EDIT: And what dead pedal is the one in that pic? Looks a LOT like the pedals.

    ^^^^

mine came with allen head screws.

That's probably a VW with the dead pedal.

Re: A.W.E. Tuning Sport Pedal Sets are In Stock and Ready to Ship

AFter installing these on my B6 (they were previously on my B5) this past weekend I wanted to offer one bit of advice to anyone reading this in the future.

    Do one of two things:

    1. Use a 90 degree angled drill to drill the pedals
    or
    2. If you dont have one, do yourself a favor and remove the lower bolster before you attempt the install. With a full size drill you simply dont have enough space to drill strait into the pedals with it in place, and once moved, it made life immensely easier. It is only three 8mm bolts and it pops right out when you pull toward the seat.

As before, the pedals are great! I can finally toe-toe again without risking rolling off the brake pedal alltogether! then and
