Can anybody check out a car for me in Sausalito?

I am considering buying a car in Sausalito (N San Fran) but I live in Portland. I figured before I completely trust the salesman I would find somebody to look at it for me. Another option (easier) would be to recommend a good shop to have him drop it off at to get it inspected. The main thing I am wanting to find out is if the Turbo's are starting to go. It seems that a lot of owners don't know what that sounds like. I drove a car yesterday that I'm 90% sure the turbo was starting to go, he was clueless.

Anyways if you can help or recommend a shop that somewhat close that'd be great. Just don't buy the car out from under me;)

You might want to ask the California guys, it's a little far for us in the PNW.

Good Point. For my work, NorCal is considered PNW. I forget the rest of the world doesn't think that way.
