3500 RPM clutch slip, now pedal feels spongy

I took it to the track a few months ago and 3000 seemed fine on the stock clutch so I tried 3500 on the street with passengers and it slipped until around redline. I drove it around real slow to allow it to cool and to ventilate the passengers from the brake fluid that smelled like burnt asshair haha. Now shifting seems fine and it doesnt slip when I go WOT at a low RPM but the engagement point is considerably later. Is it likely that it just needs to be bled?

Sorry for the OT post, but can you describe the "burnt asshair" smell a little better? And how you came to know what it smells like?

burnt asshair= burnt brake fluid. And to answer your question about me knowing what burnt asshair smells like all I can say is that this will be a long couple of weeks while pledging for the fraternity haha

Was hoping for something a little more exciting than that

I was thinking him and his girl tried to make love in the kitchen while in the middle of making enchiladas and refried beans, and forgot the stove was on when she tried to ride him...

Try bleeding the clutch first and look where the brake fluid was leaking. You might need a new slave cylinder if it's leaking from there.
