    Re: headlight washers

    What do you mean the washers quit working? They don't pop up? Check the fuse first and if that isn't it your probably going to replace them...which sucks because you have to take the bumper off. So if your lowers are unpainted...live with it untill you are ready to paint then tackle it all at once....that's what I'm doing at least. Window switch I have no idea, your most likely going to have to go to audi for that or live with it.

    Re: headlight washers

    ^^^^ On the right track, but you probably don't need to replace the nozzles

    1- check the fuse, it might be blown. If it is you're lucky this is an easy fix.
    2- if the fuse is fine, you probably have a bad pump. This takes a little work but can be done in under an hour. This is the fix I did and mine have been working fine since. You can pick up the pump at the dealership, it's not too expensive. There is a write up on how to do this fix on here or Audiworld. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find it.

    Re: headlight washers

    I had the same issue a while ago. My pump was gone, replaced by dealer under warranty. For the window button, did you try unplugging the battery for like 5 min and retrying again? If that does not help, you could check the wires for the rear window unless its a programming thing. Best thing is to wait till you have more serious stuff going wrong and add these two issues to the list when u go next time to the dealer..to make the $100 deductible worth it. I go there with at least $3000 bucks of repairs, and sometimes I get away without paying any deductible.

    They pop up when you wash your windshield, IF the headlights are on. If the lights are off, they don't pop up.

    Re: headlight washers

    headlight washer pump -> $50 USDs

    labour time -> 1-1.5 hours.

    3 reasons why it doesnt pop out:
    - Cracked/Leaky headlight washer pump.
    - leaky fluid line that goes to front pumper nozzle
    - blown fuse.

    If you dont find any washerfluid leak, the most likely it's blown fuse.

    i had this problem a month ago, i blew 10+ 25A fuses, i forgot who it was, but they recommended using a 35A fuse instead of a 25A and my fuse hasn't blown since.

    Probably a blown fuse or bad pump.
