halo/angel headlights yay or nay?

sup.....im about to scoop some halo headlights on ebay. wanted to know what the quality of these lights is like. i know for sure someone here has em. so are they dim @ all? do they hold up pretty good?

the lights i have right now are stock but, the passenger side has that condensation thing goin on. when i went to the dealership they told me that a new stock light would be 500 for only 1. thing is the lights i have now are HID's so they are pretty bright so i dont wanna waist my money on cheaper lights if they are not as effective.

can you guys shed some light on my situation?................pun intended.......

i dont know you, but do urself a favour, DO NOT get those.... ull have MAJOR fogging problems, halo's are gonna fade away whithin a month (maybe burn out).., and light output is the shittiest ive ever seen... (i had hid kit in them and my grandma's 97 Lumina with silverstars was brighter).... fitment will suck too..!

bro, trust me, i went through 2 pairs of halos, from japan and germany... biggest dumbest waste of money..

get these instead, great price, great quality, and they got a citylight.. (just like ecodes)..

I used to have a set (still sorta do one lense is broken) they fog quite easily after rain or washing the car, I had after market hid's and they were nice light output, the halos were kinda dim.

yeah what's with the honda and jdm references?? Bimmers are the only cars i really know of that have these. And i see FK Angel eyes on VW's all the time. You just gotta get the right kind of Angel Eyes is all. Trying to cheap out will make them shitty just like anything else. But bimmers and those aftermarket FK's that the dubbers use seem to work out great. Especially for the bimmers, those cars have fuckin bright lights.

so Aleksey, are you saying that the other headlights with the halos that the same seller (eurosportgarage) carries are not as good as the ones you have recommended? he carries both types, with and without halos....

he only sells them, he doesnt make them.. u gotta know whats good whats bad... i had to learn on my own mistakes and budget.. halo's are crap, no matter who u get them from.... UNLESS u do them urself somehow and put nice bright CCFL rings inside stock S4 xenon headlights... whoever is first to do that will have insane props... I know they say halos are ricy or for bmw only but i like them and always have... Wish there were some GOOD ones like u see on those 3 series BMW's with aftermarket headlights..

uh.. JDM is black housing headlights... not halos... i used to have a jdm civic... audi is a way better upgrade though...
