I use techron concentrate once every 6 months or so and I also use chevron or shell gas only.

    Re: Fuel Additives?

If your vehicle is not performing well -- if the engine is knocking or losing its pep -- it will need to be serviced by an auto mechanic. Fuel additives cannot repair damage. The purpose of fuel additives is simply to clean carbon deposits or prevent corrosion. They are intended for maintenance, not for repair.

I use Lubro Moly Jectron and Ventil Sauber (Valve Clean) every oil change. I alternate them at my oil change intervals.

I don't think hes trying to repair his car dude, relax.

stay away from that lucas "upper cylinder lubricant" it will make your O2 sensors fail.

I just buy the cheapest injector cleaner and use it in a half or 1/4 full tank so it will work like a "concentrated" mix, the stuff they sell to you on the shelf is weak and your chances of damaging anything are non-existant. I've been meaning to try the techron concentrate, i've heard several people say its good.

^ It used to be cheaper. I have not heard anyone in a while to mention that product. We used to use it on bikes, that stuff is amazing.

I've heard the opposite about 44K. I've heard from several mechanics it's the worst thing you can do to your engine. Hmmmmmm....
