Vmr Tp Reviews?

Was looking at getting the VMR test pipe... I look at it like this, i can buy this for $100 shipped take off my cat and sell to the local scrap yard for $160... I get a mod and a nice dinner for me and the wifey.. WIN WIN!!! But are they good quality/fitment/welds last more than 1 Buffalo,NY winter?? I had the eurocode one on my last b5 and loved it... Is this comparable?

UGH The guy who posted just happened to be (VMRwheels)... WOW what a surprise he said his product is nice!!!! And the other ones are b6 guys.. I know there isnt a whole lot of difference but there is a difference... I want to make sure it fits correctly

post #13 in the above referenced thread is not us, we posted on post #11. As far as applications go, the B5 and B6 share the same test pipe. To date, we have not had any fitment issues with our current products.

As for as durability, our tp is made from stainless steel and the welds will certainly hold up to winter conditions. I can send you some close-up pics of them if you'd like, just send me a PM with your email. :-)

I bought mine from them and I was really pleased with the product. Nice welds, all nice gaskets and bolts. Just remember to use loctite on the exhaust to downpipe bolts.LMK if you have any questions

I really cant see how you could go wrong with just this piece. Its just a piece of metal with two nicely welded flanges on. Maybe he has CEL troubles?

If anyone is having problems with the product itself, we will gladly try to help solve the problems. Of course, the product is sold for off-road use only much like many other mods, and much like doing anything for more power (ie turbos, injectors, exhausts), a proper tune is recommended to get the most out of it.

$65 generic terd on eBay, works great. No problems in the last 18K. Great flanges, good welds, and quality bungs.
