beginning the 3rd round of mods before 2nd

Starting to lay the groundwork for my 3rd round of mods, which will include twin-GT turbo setup, new intercoolers, and a fueling solution.

Coming from my SRT-4 background, I'm not used to Audi pricing. I've been looking around at turbo kits, and was initially looking at K04's. I've worked with AGP Turbo for about 3 years on my SRT-4, and since they're a Borg Warner dealer, I knew I could get K04's through them. However, the RS4 setup isn't enough power for me, and I'm really disappointed in the boost lag and performance level of the RS6's.

So, Ben dropped by last night to take a look at my car and spare engine, and we got talking about non-K04 setups. When I explained to him the options (or lack there-of) as well as the pricing, he was a little shocked. He agreed to start fabricating up a kit, as well as some new intercoolers.

I'm calling this Round 3, as they won't be ready for a little bit. In the meantime, I'll be doing Round 2 (motor/tranny mounts, exhaust, possibly some new wheels). Can't wait!!

I feel the same way, I can tear my DSM down with no problem also my VW and even my bmw when I had it, but for some reason i feel like i will mess something up on my audi so would rather pay a pro...lol

Re: beginning the 3rd round of mods before 2nd

I still do my own work, but due to having this spare motor that I'm going to do all the work to first, I'll most likely pay someone to swap the engines, and do a clutch at the same time. That's the kind of thing I don't have the time and space for anymore.

The nice thing with AGP is they're heavy in the SRT-4 world. For better or worse, Neon owners are cheap/broke, so affordable quality is the name of the game.
