Just got done brewing an old english ale... should be similar to hobgoblin if anyone has ever tried it. Now just to wait for it to ferment.

Does anyone else brew their own beer?

Yeah, my buddy and I brew all the time. Last one we made was an "Oreo Stout" turned out pretty good...

    Re: Anyone homebrew?

That's about what I figured and how I did it too. Is it better to ferment when it's hotter?

lately I have been enjoying New Belgium's Old Cherry on tap at my house

    Re: Anyone homebrew?

We are going to do some in the attic this winter at our shop. We keep the heat 50deg F when we aren't there, which should be good for brewing I would think...

My eventual goal is to get setup with a kegerator / soda keg deal, because I can't see wanting to clean a zillion bottles more then once or twice.

    Re: Anyone homebrew?

^^^I agree. Brewing was fun but messy and time consuming for me so I stopped doing it and went the kegerator route. Currently have New Belgium Old Cherry and 1554 on tap I now get 30% off at New Belgium. Guess I've bought enough kegs from them over the years lol...

    Re: Anyone homebrew?

Well you've put me to shame. I have Keystone on tap but that's merely because so many of my friends drink on it and fail to pitch. I used to get kegs from coopersmiths for $60 but i've since lost that hookup.
