back to stock - bad idle (ecu?)

From GTRS to stock. running a stock 557p ecu (possibly passat) even though i asked for audi 557p.

Do I need to recode to make this idle ok. (cold start barely get's it idling) warm or cold, give it some gas and it dies.

Is it possible I have the wastegate and turbo charge pipe vacuum lines mixed? Only thing I can think of that I could of done wrong.

I tried another MAF, exact same symptoms. Can't find my spare ICM - but all these components worked on the GTRS. (IM SO LOST) I have referee inspection wed, then judge on monday 9-20.

(will try and borrow VAG tomorrow)

Re: back to stock - bad idle (ecu?)

That was the first thing. (TBA)

Okay, so had a 3bar regulator in, tossed in my adjustable to bring it up to 4bar (~58psi). Does the exact same thing. When I try and give it some throttle it goes up then cuts back...

    Any other ideas?

are you running the stock ecu on a gtrs with 3'' maf and upgraded injectors? if so the idle is going to be crappy because it cant adjust for the fueling and 3'' maf

fixed... bad ecu... tonelee you were right on track... 17967 tba code couldn't be cleared from the spare ECU i purchased..

tossed in the pc16 runs like a champ... unfortunately that's the only ecu i have and probably won't pass smog...
