Hello everyone, I am officially the proud owner of a 2004 Ivory white A4 1.8T!
Only has 52k and a couple of small dings, but a couple of things that bug me but r no big deal the battery cover is missing, one of the inside cockpit lights will not turn on and one of my rear rims is starting to peel! I have a couple of questions for u experts out there.
1. i want to debadge, how can it be done?
2. i want to black out the chrome part of the grill?
3. how can i paint my rims black? powdercoat or something else maybe?
4. where can i get the missing battery cover?
5. what can be done about the light not turning on, what can it be?
6. i want to get black audi rings for the rear, where can i get these?
7. where can i get one of those nifty dope stickers?
8. is $16,500 a good price? in your guys opinion
any comments and feedback is greatly appreciated, thnx.

Badges can be removed with fishing line and a hair dryer, plus some scrubbing. Hold the hair dryer on it for a couple minutes to make it hot and pull the fishing line through behind the badge and it will come off. Then goo gone or something like it and rub off the remaining adhesive.

Very nice. I'd suggest 3M Adhesive Remover for the debadge. Goo Gone didn't cut it at all for me. Tons of info on what's already been posted. That should get you started and then some. Keep us posted.

And I got my 'dope' stickers here... although it took them a while to ship em out.

first of all.....CONGRATS!! I say just be happy with it cuz ur gonna fall in love with it. I got mine about 6 months ago for $15,300 (46,xxx miles) certified with an extended warranty from keyes audi in van nuys, but i put $2,000 down so it was $13,300. Yea, I think I just lucked up and got a real good deal. It's a GREAT ride!! go to that link that dude referred you too and you can start from there. Good luck with everything!!

1. Fishing Line and GooGone. Rub the fishing line behind the emblems (preferably when its warm) and they will come off. Then goo gone the residue.
2. Click Here
3. Powdercoat or sand them and rattle can (spray paint). Both have been done before.
4. Your dealer should have that part readily available for you.
5. The light, try searching for "dome light" on the forums and something might pop up.
6. Debadge your old ones, paint, and put on
7. I think a user makes them somewhere on here. Search bar is your friend
8. 16.5$ sounds like an amazing price actually. Maybe a little high but cant beat white!
