    Seizure!

I have a strong feeling one of my rear brake calipers is seized open. I've had problems with my emergency brake for a while. The stealer ship said it was the right rear that was seized open, I changed it, and still have a weak E-brake. Now the cables have snapped off of the handle.

How can I tell which caliper is seized? Or if it was the cables?

I know if they were seized closed i'd be going through pads and all that noise but since something is jammed open I don't have that problem.

And I did search but every thread is about a caliper that is locked closed.

    Re: Seizure!

Easiest way would be to try and stick a small flathead screwdriver in between your rear pad and rotor when car is parked and e-brake is on. whichever one can have the flathead fit between it is the seized one. This is just an educated guess mind you
