DICE iPod and Paddle Shifters Installed

To add some more capabilities to our Project Audi A3, we recently installed the DICE iPod interface which works with the stock stereo unit. This kit connects your iPod directly to the factory stereo system in your vehicle through the satellite radio / auxiliary input on the back of the factory radio. Since this is a direct-connection iPod adapter, it is guaranteed to have CD Quality Sound with absolutely no static or distortion.

Users can navigate their iPod music library either through using the iPod itself, or by using the controls on the factory radio and steering wheel. The radio preset buttons 1-6 are used to navigate between Albums, Artists, and Playlists... while the track controls are used to cycle through songs within the Playlist / Album. Artist and Song Title information is displayed on the factory radio in vehicles with the ability to display text information.

This integration kit powers and charges the iPod while connected, and automatically shuts it off when you exit the vehicle. Users never have to worry about charging the iPod before using it in the car, or turning it off when they leave.

Next we finished our final prototypes of our larger Paddle Shifters by Agency Power. These CNC machine pieces fit in replace of the stock paddle. They work with the electronic switch. The final production part will be anodized black with Red or Silver + and - signs. These should be available for all Audi's in 30 days.

paddle looking nice. Do they actually replace the existing paddle? Is steering wheel removal necessary for installation?

the paddles are a good idea in theory but the fact that they travel with the wheel seem to make them very questionable. Would look better in carbon fiber and a bit smaller IMO

I'm waiting to see pics of the Paddles painted before I pass judgment on them. Price estimate? On a scale of 1-10 how difficult was the install on them?
