CXRacing FMIC with inserts and fog lights (pics)

so it seemed as thought this couldn't be done...

justed use the CXRacing Ebay FMIC core and then ordered a bunch of pre-bent pipes, hoses and clamps. I got everything to fit, and the bumper is pretty decent. I still need to mess with it a bit more to get a perfect fit, but I'm pretty anal and i'm happy with the fitment right now.

I did all the piping custom, basically took me all day on saturday. i just ordered a bunch of pre-bent pipes (U-bends, 90 degree, 45 degree) and hoses. Bought a pipe cutter and did the damn thing.

One question I have is why did you chose the CXRacing FMIC over the CXRacing SMIC's?

I've been very tempted to get the SMIC's from CXRacing.

I got this one used for fairly cheap, plus I love the look of a front mount. I am quite kine of my fog lights, so if I couldn't get it to work I would have gone with upgraded sides.

It's the Seat Cupra R lip, a ton of folks seem to be running them these days. I just sprayed mine to match my wheels. Here is a side shot...

I found a cx fmic on craigslist, I need to figure out if there are any hose kits pre fitted for s4 that are a good buy (quality/price).

How much of a pain to install assuming I had pre fitted hose kit and what is the biggest pain about this install?

if you have pre-fabbed pipes install will be simple. you wont be able to keep your stock fogs though...

biggest pain is cutting/removing the rebar in the bumper which as to be done to fit the core.

Oh, just wondering, were you able to leave the headlight sprayers on?? And like I said before it is sick, and I makes me want to start looking at front mounts again, I was considering buying the sides off Ebay made by CXRaxing.

had to take out the headlight washers unfortunately, but i think i'll survive...

i'm an idiot and didn't take any other pictures. i was helping a buddy put a turbo on his TC and also doing a suspension swap on a b6 a4 so i was all over the place this weekend.
