    17884_EVAP Leak?

anyone have any ideas? I just had my check valve replaced because one of the sides snapped. I was having misfires before but now those are gone and I have this "17884 EVAP Leak Detection Pump" code coming up everyday or two. I tried searching but there wasn't much on this code that I could find. Any ideas of what I should be looking around for, besides loose connections around that check valve? Thanks

you have to check the evap lines that run from the motor to the back of the car... if you get under your car wrapping around near your exhaust by the gas tank there are some lines that are pretty hard and there are like 2 or 3 side by side running the length of the car. check for any tears in those lines.... also they lead into a black covered canister if you take the 3 screws/bolts whatever they are down there out you can see where the lines end up and make sure nothing has slipped off... if you cant find the lines near the back of the car go to the pass side and about 1-1.5 feet in you will see the lines there sometimes its easier to look there for them. make sure all your check valves are in tact as well on the pass side of the motor

2nd, Sometimes the exhaust clamps puncture the lines in the rear. I've experienced it personally. Check those lines.

Awesome, thanks man. I'm hoping I can get done with my work tonight so I can go an check that out. It's more than likely the case cause I've had this rattle coming from my brakes in the back and I've had people up there pounding around trying to find the source. They probably knocked something loose. Thanks again!
