I ordered an evoms intake for $250 installed last week.
should be here tomorrow.

1. Did i get a good deal?
2. My exhaust is also on the way, does the intake do anything to the exhaust sound.

That's not a bad deal but it isn't the deal of the century either. The intake won't make your exhaust sound any differently but you will be able to hear the intake more which will increase overall sound.

i was thinking more along the lines of test pipe..

the test pipe replaces the cat, which apprently helps out with the sound and spool time (so go ahead and do it if you want to kill the earth), and downpipe donnects the cat/testpipe to the exhaust piping under the car. Its a good mod and really the reason why the exhaust has any gain, without it its mostly a sound mod. they can be had prefabbed for about $250 or you can gt one custom made for i dont know how much.

But I want to take things slow and start small
