    Why doesnt the reverse light flow with the boot line anymore...

    we would need some kind of converter to convert the power... its what 06/07 M5 owners had to do to get the 08 LED rears to work.

    I wonder why Audi didnt add these from the start. Other cars have been using them for a while and Audi though far enough ahead to use LED's as DRLs and now many others are following.

    So would December delivery vehicles get these??

    Not necessarily. This can already be built into the lamp it self, but most likely you will be able to change the parameters with VAG-COM. I did this when I changed DRL from bulb til LED on my A6, giving it the S6 front. I bet you it's just a VAG-COM tweak to make this work.

    If the power consumption is the same then it wont have to be, but if its not a transformer will be in place!
