    Clutch pedal lacks pressure

I just put in a new SB clutch (Thanks Mike Hood!) and noticed on the slave cylinder that the tip was a little wet. Compressed it and got it to fit (what a pain!) but now I have no clutch pressure. I thought this would be due to the fact that I need to bleed the slave cylinder, but was wondering if this would be normal for a clutch job? The cylinder seems to get its fluid from the brake fluid reservoir.. is there something simple that I am overlooking or any special steps into bleeding this? Or would the wet tip of the cylinder be a sign that I need to replace it?

    Re: Clutch pedal lacks pressure

It might have gotten air in it while you were doing the clutch, try bleeding it.

Pump, hold, open, close, and repeat.

    Re: Clutch pedal lacks pressure

Good luck. When I did my clutch, i must have spent 3 hours doing it the manual way with ZERO pressure.

I had to buy a motive power bleeder and it was done in about 2 minutes
