OEM Is Growing On Me ...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Really starting to like the more OEM look of the car with the S4 wheels. Considering getting rid of the shaved USP and switch over to an S4 front with a little more modest cutting job for the FMIC. Not sure I want to go the straight up sleeper look but my feelings recently are the less that shows the better.

So what ya think? S4 front (of course with some custom touches ) or hell no, I'm crazy?

    Some pics from today

If you truely wanted the sleep look, a black anodized intercooler is what you need!

As for the S4 bumper, IMHO, from the side, they look like the non-USP bumpers.....too rounded.

Its not like the USP is not OEM.

Add an S4 lower grill if you have the room

i personally prefer the USP over S4 front, but i think it needs all the grills to make it work. I HATE front ends full of holes. if you want the OEM look try your current setup with the grills in place. is there room enough for that with your setup? actually forget all that, you should 100% get the S4 front...

My USP front has 700 bucks worth of molding and grill/fog removal work. No way, no how will grills ever go back in it. It looks 100% OEM made like it is without the fogs and grills

I think the car looks great. I'm a big fan of the OEM look anyway. The wheels look killer. The only thing I would do is tear off that Porsche turbo badge and put the rings back on.

I like the USP front better, S4 front looks too similar to stock IMO, yeah the bumper cutouts are bigger and the grilles are different but its does not stand out enough. I love the combo of the S4 rear with S4 blades and the USP front with the splitter, that is the kit I am trying to peace together myself...

Your car pulls off the Avus wheels better than any car I have seen them on.

If I had to suggest anything to change it would be get an S4 top grill and a set of S4 xenon ecodes to darken the front a bit and then some Caractere sides to visually lower the car to the ground.

My front grill is S4, not the blacked out one. Ive also liked the chrome accent look and Caractere skirts have been on my list for quite some time just never could bite the bullet on them (and my modding budget went seriously down over the last year )

For some reason on your car I would like to say yes, I think it would complete the classic clean look you are going for with those wheels.
But, you don;t want to look like a poser with s4 rear, s4 wheels, s4 grille and s4 front end.... not an insult because i think the car looks awesome and it surely can keep up to/dust an s4 but we all know what we think when we see 325's with full M3 body work, we all know its not an M3.

Re: OEM Is Growing On Me ...

Your car looks great w/ the S4 wheels...having said that, I think you would be selling yourself (and all your work) short by going back to OEM 100%. IMHO, your car represents your tuning shop and what it's capable of. Get a new set of 19's and you'll get over this OEM idea quickly...
