So I tried to tint the white section of my stock tail lights and messed it up pretty bad. Used model car window tint spray and model car clear coat. The tint went on all spotty and sanding it did nothing. Finished with clear coat, sanded and rubbed w/compound and it came out shitty. Orangepeel!
After putting it all on, it looked way too dark. I wanted a very light hint of tint on the white section, and they came out color mathed to my Doplin Grey . Then I used some thinner and wiped it all off back to stock. Thank god it all came off without a trace .
Does anyone know of a good DIY to help get this done better the next time. Haven't been able to find a good DIY. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
