Damn so Friday night i went to Hollywood with a bunch of my friends. We all took my car and im heading back home around 3am. Im on the freeway and hit a HUGE dip, scared the sh*t out of me. my car was fine and drivable so i kept driving.

Went to work the next morning car was fine no problems. Untill about 4pm i look out of my work at my car(cause that just whati do when im bored =]) i see a huge puddle underneath my car. Oil EVERYWHERE im like faaawwwwkkk.

dipstick is dry no oil at all on it. i lifted the car up yesterday and i have a 3" crack in my oil pan withoil leaking like crazy :(

i shaved off like 2mm off of my drain plug and my car is fuct. as far as i know i might just pull the motor do a BT setup timing belt and replace the pan....

time to start reading up on turbo setups!

    ill post pics later

BTW ill be selling my navifor 400 shipped or picked up now. RNS-D its in the classifides

I haven't been able to dive right in because of work. But is it a PITA to drop the sub frame?

Did you have the plastic cover on? That helps to take those hits. I learn the hard way when I had my Passat, left the belly pan cover off, hit a pothole and cracked my oil pan the same way. It's and easy fix though, buy some JB weld drain the oil and put some JB Weld on it. It will hold for until you can get a new oil pan, I had the cracked oil pan for about 6 months until I got a new one. good luck

not really actually... you pull the front end off, undo the engine mounts, and jack the engine up
