I was wondering cause I am looking at some springs for sale from a local and the site says they lower 1.4 front adn 1.3 rear, but that is based on a stock car, not a sport packaged car. so i was just trying to find out how much it would truly lower my car.

Generally everyone says that if you put "sport" springs on an a4 with the sport package, it won't be lowered at all, cause like you said the lowered amount is relative to the non-sport suspension. Race springs are what will get rid of the wheel gap.

the springs that are up for sale are eibach, so i'd still see almost .75 inches up front, if we are .75 from the factory. i was told sport was half an inch, but that buddy wasnt 100% sure.

I don't know if this helps at all but here is the difference between non-sport and sport suspension. Not much difference in ride height now that i think about it, just stiffness really

i think there is quite a bit more difference then it might look. holy hell is that red avant high.

i wonder if someone who sees this could do a ground to fender measurement to know the real difference.

Re: how much lower is sport suspension then stock

yeah the sport suspension i would say is at least an inch lower then what the stock suspension is, to the OP I had the sport suspension on my car and I put Koni adjustables on it with H&R racing springs and it sits at a perfect height for me now (running 18" wheels) the tires never rubbed with 225/40/18's on it but when i put 235's on it it rubs a tiny bit now, just for a lil info......but here was the difference in ride height for you to compare if you want to

    sport suspension
