First Aid Kit?

So I was riding in my cousins 07 avant yesterday and I noticed that he had a first aid kit in the back seat armrest/cupholder. When I went home to check if I had one, to my surprise there was nothing there... Is it only avants that got the first aid kit or some sort of package that it came with or did they somehow forget to put one in mine? I know its not that big of a deal cause I can just throw some band aids in there and call it a day, but I was just curious...

Yeah. I don't have one either... They also started taking out those emergency triangles too. BMW has been doing it in their newer cars too.

My 07 S-Line has one. If you want you can order one over at ecstuning.com I think they were around 35 bucks though...?

my 08 avant didn't have one, but we had so many math problems with the dealer (someone doesn't know how to use a calculator), we got them to throw one in for free. if you're "friends" with anyone at your dealer, casually ask them about it. they might "find" one in the back.

Also, the kit cots a lot more than $5 If there ever was an emergency somewhere and you were to show up, there is just about every thing there to help stabilize a person that might go into shock.

Of course there is also the everyday scratch that it could fix as well.

my 06 sedan came with one. however, you're probably better off just getting a simple kit at the drugstore. they're only a few bucks.

i have an 08 s-line and i was suprised to see my luxury car without one; so i ordered a brand new one on ebay for like 8 bucks just to feel secure and content :]

No kit w/ my 08, but I run a Benz first aid kit from by buddy's E63. I think my car feels a tad faster since I put it in.

Dont have one in my -08. But my insurance company gave me one. I think that was a nice thing to do from there side [:-)]. But on the other hand, Insurance companies dont hate there costumers and dont see them as walking ATM's in swedes as they seem to do in the states...

2005.5 sedan and have the first aid kit, but no triangle.

I can't see me ever using the triangle, but maybe the first aid kit. I carry my own anyway in my winter emergency kit.

i'm just glad I have a full spare unlike a lot of new bimmers.

Yeah, a full spare with matching wheels is almost necessary on luxury cars. My only gripe with Audi is the infamous "Widow Maker" jacks that come equipped with our cars, with built in fail feature!

That is essentially the same thing for mine as well. They also like the ski bag, too.
