Hello everybody, this is my first post. I would like to start off by saying that this is a great forum, lots of information and helpful people here. Glad to be a part of it.
I bought a 2002 A4 1.8 Quattro as a second car for daily driving and am considering to put on some new wheels because the stock ones have a lot of curb rash and look horrible.
I'm planning on buying 18" rims, and the suggested tire size for these seems to be 225/40, however I've seen 235's recommended on here and a couple of other places, but for various other models. What do you guys recommend for my car? I don't want chunky looking tires, but not too low of a profile either, so 40 seems right, but I'm very confused about what width I should put on 18x8's.
I did a search already, I apologize for starting another thread but couldn't find an exact answer, so I thought I'd introduce myself and try to find an answer as well. Thanks everybody!
