Boost gauge brightness

for those of you who have boost gauges...
ive got the VMR vent gauge, but its way too bright!

Ive got some resistors laying around and wondering if any of you guys have put them in, and if so, what was the resistance?

I changed the brightness on my AWE gauge with resistors.

You may need to use different values but the same idea... http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=206745
