Not bad, not great.. they are use a Hella Gen 3 replica ballast. They are not waterproof (and neither are the real Hella Gen 3 ballast), so location is critical to reliability. My friend has them on his Evo, one of ballasts failed, which presumely due to water, due to the mounting location, which I sold my Xentec ballasts to, and told him if he had more issues, find a drier mounting location.
With cheap replicas, defect rates are much higher.
Though knock on wood, I have bought ebay Hella Gen 3 replica ballasts (and waterproofed) before to replace the OEM AL-lighting ballasts on my old car.
Using the OEM style connector (on the bulb), along with a H7 to D2S adapter, you can use high quality OEM Phillips D2S bulbs also.
