the ones in the Link are D1S Hid Bulbs.

I have no idea where the warning is coming from other than the stock plugs are bypassed because of a 10k HID kit and it has fake angel eyes which are ugly as sin. Ive had the car only 2 weeks now so still learning the fixes.

The cause of the headlight out warning is because of the 10K HID kit ballast, and the angel eye running lights.

Exactly. You can get OEM HID ballasts, connecting cables and burner's from HID Concepts for a good price as a kit purchase.

No, D1S is with the square integral igniter at the base of the lamp, where as D2S is identical burner without the built in igniter.

If you have OEM xenons, then you would need to swap the ballasts and D1S lamps, and the cable connecting the ballast to the lamp.

shipping was fast 4-5 days.. installation is very simple too, plug and play, + little drilling through the bulb caps if u need to put an aftermarket hid kit in there...

the only thing what was wrong is the allignment... i had to spend little time alligning the beam.. when it came it was wayyy down...

How would your cutoff deem your headlights defective? You have HIDs in halogen housings, of course the cutoff is not going to look right. The housings were not designed for that.

cutoff doesn't look that crisp. I have HIDs in my non hid housings on my b5, and the cut off is really crisp and strong.

my stock non-hid housings had much better and crisper cut-off... the lense in these ones arent best quality obviously :(

Aleksey, have you had any issues with fogging at all? Are the adjustment screws the same as ones on the OEM housings? I've been really wanting to pull the trigger on these for a while.

pull it!... mine dont fog at all.. even after i pointed the powerwash at 10 inch distanse and blasted them for a minute from every side...... BUT a guy i know got them and he had minor fogging in the very bottom after a carwash..

adjustment screws are identical and work the same..

i keep hearing people drilling thru the back. i just let my wires come out the bottom and clipped it back together and i have no condensation problems at all.

I'm talking about the amber bulbs. They don't come on when you turn your headlights on? How about the daytime driving lights, do they automatically come after start up?

ummm.. blinkers I have yet to put in .. citylights only come on when I turn on the switch (1click).. I have basic.. no autolights..
