    Carbonio air filter change??

    anyone ever change their foam airfilter to k&n one??

    I'm looking into doing this b/c it seems the foam intake is very restrictive--
    Just not sure what size K&n cone filter I need..
    I'll just have to take some measurements when i take it apart, or does someone know the dimensions already??

    I changed my foam filter to a pipercross foam filter. It didnt work out very well. I would keep the Carbonio one. If you want a cone why dont you get the Evolution Motorsports one.

    mainly cause it's too late... would cost me too much to sell the carbonio used and pick up an evo

    I would just leave the foam filter alone. It has proven to work. so why mess with it. That's my 2 cents.

    The part number for the K&N the fits directly onto our MAF is RU-3580. Is this what you guys are looking for?

    Will this fit with the heatshield on? Does the MAF stick out of the heatshield for this thing to connect to?
