i swaped coils and even bought a new one but still the misfire stays in cylinder 3, i also bought new spark plugs and NADA nothing still the car runs rough and almost sounds like a modified WRX lol. Does anyone know what other possibilities, Before taking it to the STEALER.

    Thanks in advance guys.

    Re: Missfire in cylinder 3

You can test an icm by probing with an ohmmeter, one side has 4 spades the other has 5
Each cylinder is numbered on it so the input and output numbered 3 should have an OL displayed while the others will have similar ohm readings. The extra spade on one side is a ground in the center terminal. If you try testing straight through the circuit for the bad cylinder you would get a OL through the circuit and if you try that circuit through the ground you should get an OL through there also and testing the good circuits should give the same readings as testing the circuits through the ground, at least I did.

A good icm will have similar ohm reading through all circuits of the icm.

It's not that complex I just suck at explaining. Each spade on the icm is numbered, disconnect wires from icm, test straight thru each channel, if the icm is good the readings will all be similar readings.

    What exactly are cylinder lines?

I currently have cylinder 2 and 4 and random misfiring too.
