2.3 16v wasn't created by amg. AMG tuned 190e's had a 3.2 litre straight six, were only sold in black or silver and only 200 complete cars were ever sold. Got pix of this super rare beast?

That was my question, I didn't think any 190e AMG's made it over the pond. I assumed we're talking about the 4cyl M3 fighter.

it wasn't a true GT6 the engine was swapped and it had the GT6 hood. But, she was a money pit and parts were hard to find. Yea, the Benz is from germany so it's regg'ed non-us. It's the 190e 16v with the cosworth engine, but it looks like it has the amg exhaust, suspension from the 'power pack'?? but the original seats have the checkered or plaid design found in the rare 'LE' package. The rims as much as I hate them are original Brabus rims. Here the pix!

The color isn't black it's a metallic grey, just the overcast in the pictures you can't really tell.

Yes they are original Brabus rims. I'm not really a fan of the design either (personally, I like the 5 spoke) but original and extremely rare so I'm hard pressed on what to do with them. Those 190's still haul ass on the freeway and will take out any stock A4. Bout 12 years ago we did I think 155-160 in a 190 comming from Tahoe.

Yea, I kinda took it through a couple backroads and I'm very surprised at the performance. I met up with someone that had a 190E 2.5 16v off the revolution forums and compared mine 2.3 16v. I have no backseats (4 door), my trunk literally is barebones, he has power everything..I have power nothing and the seats, his are all leather mine are checkered cloth. It was an interesting comparison, we chalked up the differences to mine being imported versus his being US.
